Samuel Knight International are excited to be recruiting for a Driver Team Manager on behalf of a leading Train Operating Company with an excellent reputation and exciting future.

We are seeking qualified train drivers with a valid UK or European licence who have experience in leadership or managerial positions or feel they have the transferable skills to excel within this important senior role.

• To manage the team to deliver aspirations at ground level
• Perform briefing, technical and operational monitoring and assessment of train drivers
• Ensure the safe delivery of train operations in the region
• Achieve and deliver standards for drivers, ensuring they are fit to undertake their duties
• Initiate welfare, disciplinary and MFA arrangements, as required
• To achieve local objectives as set by the Operations Manager

• Full UK or European Train Driving Licence
• Mainline (Network Rail) train driving experience
• Expansive route knowledge, particularly within the North West
• Excellent safety record
• Proven leadership skills

• Passenger train driving experience
• Previous team lead or driver manager experience
• Academic leadership qualifications
