Job Title: Train Cleaning Supervisor – Night Shift

Wanted! We have a new and exciting requirement for a Train Cleaning Supervisor to lead train cleaning teams on the night shift operation to ensure the cleanliness of the trains are in top condition for public use for one of the UK’s leading train operating companies.

Ganymede solutions are currently working with a recognised leader in the rail sector who has operations across the north of the UK with an ever-growing presence within the rail industry.

The Candidate:

We are seeking a hard-working, confident and passionate person who enjoys the challenge of leading teams from the front, ensuring cleanliness is up to top standard, being flexible across several locations and holds a solid cleaning & team leading background. An ideal background will be within cleaning from the engineering or facilities management sector as a cleaning manager / supervisor.

The Role:

Up for a challenge? Great, lets tell you about the role! Your key responsibilities include overseeing the cleaning operation daily to ensure they are met to the correct standards, train & motivate staff, ordering / monitoring of materials, and perform weekly inspections at each location.

Requirements:

If you’re loving the sound of this, here’s what you need to be considered for the role! Relevant experience within the cleaning environment as a cleaning manager / supervisor, full and valid driver’s license, computer literate in word, excel etc.…able to work night shifts of 17:00pm to 01:30am on a roster pattern that includes weeknights and every other weekend with the occasional day shift required.

If successful at interview via our internal interviewi platform and offered a role you will be required to attend a Drug & Alcohol appointment at a local medical centre and provide your eligibility to work in the UK.

Salary: £15.17 per hour for every hour worked.
