You will be joining a dynamic specialist contractor at the forefront of the UK's rail infrastructure scene. ·Performance Monitoring & Incident Management: Conduct site inspections, audits, and incident investigations. Manage HSQE KPIs and use data-driven insights for improvements.
·Training & Competence: Develop and deliver high-impact safety training sessions, including toolbox talks and policy updates.
·Systems & Compliance: Assist in developing ISO-aligned systems, risk assessments, and safe systems of work. Lead regional teams through accreditation assessments (e.g., ISO 9001, 14001, 45001).
·Continuous Improvement: Identify SMART improvement opportunities, maintaining up-to-date knowledge on health, safety, environmental, and quality legislation.

What You'll Need:
·Minimum 2-3 years of Health and Safety experience in the rail sector, preferably on heavy civils projects.
·NEBOSH General Certificate (essential) and Construction Certificate (preferred).
·Full UK driving licence and the ability to travel to various sites and attend monthly meetings in Chorley.
