We're seeking skilled PTS-qualified Electricians to join a leading rail infrastructure specialist delivering essential electrical services on the West Coast Main Line.
Role Overview You'll carry out both reactive and planned maintenance on electrical systems across a variety of busy rail stations and associated infrastructure. The work spans from Euston through to Luton, focusing on high-profile, operational sites where reliability and safety are paramount.
Key Responsibilities
- Fault finding, repair, and maintenance of station electrical installations (lighting, power, small power, emergency systems, etc.)
- Planned preventative maintenance programmes
- Responding to reactive call-outs to minimise service disruption
- Working safely in live rail environments in accordance with all Network Rail standards
- Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure compliance and quality delivery
What We're Looking For
- Valid Personal Track Safety (PTS) accreditation (essential)
- Time-served electrician qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
- Proven experience in electrical installation, maintenance, or fault rectification
- Rail sector background advantageous but not mandatory if you have strong commercial/industrial electrical experience and are willing to adapt
- Full UK driving licence preferred
- Strong safety focus and ability to work methodically under time pressure
