

Digital Tools Mobilisation Lead

A major infrastructure consultancy is looking for an experienced Digital Tools Mobilisation Lead to support the mobilisation of a high-profile rail programme.
This is a hands-on contract role where you'll be responsible for implementing and embedding the collaboration tools that enable multiple teams and partner organisations to work together effectively. You'll play a key part in improving how information is shared, ensuring digital tools are configured efficiently and creating a consistent way of working across the programme.
Working closely with programme leads, IT teams and key stakeholders, you'll configure and optimise Microsoft 365 applications including SharePoint and Microsoft Teams, ensuring they're intuitive, accessible and fit for purpose.
You'll identify opportunities to improve collaboration, streamline information management and remove barriers caused by different organisational systems, helping create a single, efficient digital working environment.
Responsibilities
·Configure and implement Microsoft Teams and SharePoint environments.
·Develop clear information structures and improve document accessibility.
·Create practical collaboration spaces to support programme delivery.
·Improve usability and adoption of digital tools across multiple teams.
·Work with IT teams and system owners to resolve access and permission issues.
·Review existing collaboration platforms and recommend improvements.
·Support integration between business tools used across different functions.
·Assist with the mobilisation, transition and long-term sustainability of digital platforms.
·Work with stakeholders across the programme to ensure digital tools support business processes effectively.
Requirements
·Strong experience implementing Microsoft 365 collaboration tools.
·Excellent knowledge of SharePoint and Microsoft Teams.
·Experience configuring digital workplace environments within large, complex organisations.
·Ability to engage with stakeholders and translate business requirements into practical solutions.
·Experience improving user adoption and simplifying ways of working.
·Comfortable working in fast-paced programme environments where systems and processes continue to evolve.
·Experience within the rail or wider infrastructure sector is highly desirable.
·Experience with Primavera, Aphex, Active Risk Manager (ARM) or Safran Risk would be advantageous but isn't essential.
