Project Manager – IT & Telecoms Deployment

Our client, a leading engineering and infrastructure services provider, is seeking a Project Manager to support the delivery of a major nationwide IT and telecoms deployment programme.

The project involves the rollout of new wireless infrastructure, internet connectivity upgrades and network migration activities across multiple sites throughout the UK.

Working closely with clients, engineers and delivery teams, you will be responsible for coordinating project activities from planning through to completion, ensuring deployments are delivered safely, efficiently and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project planning, scheduling and coordination
  • Stakeholder, client and engineer management
  • Logistics and deployment support
  • Management of RAMS and Health & Safety activities
  • Migration and implementation support
  • Issue resolution and change management
  • Progress tracking, reporting and Smartsheet management
  • Site completion, client sign-off and project close-out

Experience Required

  • Experience delivering projects within IT, telecoms, networking or technology environments
  • Strong planning, scheduling and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Experience coordinating engineers, technical teams or deployment activities
  • Knowledge of network infrastructure, wireless technologies, connectivity or telecoms projects is advantageous
  • Experience with nationwide or multi-site deployments would be beneficial
