Project Controls Manager (Rail Development)
Are you an experienced Project Controls Manager ready to shape the future of UK infrastructure?
Project Controls Manager - Strategic Development
Location: London (Hybrid 3 days in office)
Salary: £60,142- £70,755 per annum (London-based).
Join the largest ongoing infrastructure project in the UK and play a crucial role in its strategic development.
This is your opportunity to influence the early, formative stages of a nationally significant rail program.
Working within the Rail Development Directorate, you will be at the heart of the strategic planning and feasibility work for the northern sections of the project. This is not a site-based role; instead, you will focus on high-level reporting, data analysis, and managing key consultancy partners.
Role Purpose:
To provide project controls management for the Rail work packages on Phase One. The role focuses on the scheme and concept design phase, working directly with Tier 1 contractors and their supply chain.
What You'll Bring to the Role:
·Proven Experience: You are a seasoned Project Controls Manager with a demonstrable track record, not a planner looking to transition. Your expertise spans risk, planning, cost, change, and reporting.
·Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with ARM for risk management and Contruent for cost management would be a significant advantage. An understanding of P6 is also useful.
·Strategic Mindset: You are comfortable working in the early feasibility stages of a project lifecycle and have experience managing Professional Services Contracts (PSCs) with major consultancies.
·A Collaborative Attitude: Your experience is more important than specific qualifications. We are looking for a professional with the right attitude and proven skills.
