Are you confident working with contractors and stakeholders to make sure information is right first time?Salary: £36,857 to £43,355 total package (£32,050 to £37,700 plus a 15% flexible cash fund) Location: Birmingham (3 days per week in the office) Closing Date:21st JanuaryA major UK infrastructure programme is expanding its Asset Information team and is looking for an Asset Data Coordinator/Data Analyst to focus on data quality, assurance and reporting across a growing asset base.This is a data-focused analytical role, supporting the assurance of asset information from design and construction through to handover.You’ll work closely with contractors, internal information managers and technical specialists to ensure asset data is complete, accurate and compliant with defined standards. You’ll analyse submissions, report on data quality, and play a key role in the data acceptance process.This role sits within a specialist Asset Information team and works in parallel with CAD and GIS colleagues as part of a wider Digital Engineering function.Essential:<ul>
<li>Experience in data analysis, data quality and data assurance</li><li>Confidence using Power BI to analyse and present information</li><li>Understanding of asset information or infrastructure environments</li><li>Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills</li><li>Ability to explain data issues clearly to non-technical audiences</li></ul>

Data Analyst Rail

We are looking for a QS based out of Manchester (will be traveling around the UK on occasion).This is a contract role outside of IR35 and is long term
What are my responsibilities?
<ul>
<li>Commercial functions of various work packages. These may include Design, Signalling Installation, Test &amp; Commission, Materials, Telecoms, Electrification, Power, Plant, Professional Services, Civil Engineering and Permanent Way on the railway infrastructure.</li>
<li>Work with the project delivery team responsible for work package / project change control and management</li>
<li>Liaise with work package managers to collate information on the works</li>
<li>Work package cost management, including forecasting, budget management and control</li>
<li>Prepares internal and external commercial reports</li>
<li>Establish and maintain interfaces with key stakeholders. E.g. finance, project management, engineering, subcontractors, suppliers and Employers team.</li>
<li>Maintaining auditable records for responsible work packages in accordance with contractual requirements</li>
<li>Able to manage cost of both direct labour, material, plant and subcontract cost (essential)</li>
<li>Ability to estimate change / variations using various methods (essential)</li>
<li>Able to forecasts cost and measure cost of work complete (essential)</li>
<li>Good negotiation skills (essential)</li>
<li>Assists with the implement commercial strategies (essential)</li>

What do I need to qualify for the job?
<ul>
<li>Previous Quantity Surveyor / Contract Administrator experience working within a contractor side project environment (essential). Experience ideally gained in a similar or related contracting construction industry e.g. Rail, Engineering, Defence.</li>
<li>HND/Degree qualified or equivalent and or hold or working towards professional qualification, RICS, CICES (essential).</li>
<li>5 years experience.</li>
<li>Strong track record in a contractor side, project environment (essential)</li>
<li>Ability to work under own initiative and under cost or time critical conditions (essential)</li>
<li>Good contractual knowledge and understanding (essential)</li>
<li>Use of Microsoft Office and other software to present high standard of documentation</li>
</ul>
