Pay: £20.66 PAYE; £26.88 Umbrella per hour Shifts: Sunday to Thursday, Permanent Night shift

The role:
Your role will be hands-on, varied, and rewarding and it would include:

<li>Repairing and maintaining train interiors, from panel and paint repairs to seat covers, glazing, window films, armrests, tabletops, and toilet fittings.</li>

What would help you thrive in this role:
Strong hands-on mechanical assembly skills and an interest in hands-on work, experience in fitting or maintenance is a real advantage.
A proactive, adaptable approach with a focus on safety and teamwork.
A PTS qualification is ideal, but not essential, support and guidance can be provided to help you get there.
The ability to pass a rail-standard medical and Drug &amp; Alcohol test (essential for safety in the industry).

I am currently recruiting on behalf of a key rail client for experienced, time-served PTS Electricians to join a well-established team on a long-term contract basis.
My client places strong emphasis on team culture and inclusion. Contractors are treated as valued members of the workforce and fully integrated alongside permanent staff.
Based in York, you will be working on projects across the route from Carlisle to St Pancras.
Lodging and transport will be provided, making this a highly attractive role for candidates willing to work away from home.
Key Requirements
<ul>
<li>Valid PTS with AC DCCR rail experience</li>
<li>Hold JIB Gold Card, 18th Edition and 2391 I&amp;T</li>
<li>Proven experience working with up to 650V feeder vaults, Battery renewals, 650V fault finding.</li>
<li>Strong electrical rail background with hands-on experience in Crimping, Terminating, Megger (Mega) and Cable testing.</li>
<li>Have your own small hand tools (all other specialist testing equipment will be provided)</li>

Job Introduction The Shafts (Civils) Lead is a key leadership role within the Tunnels and Shaft Delivery Unit. Responsible for overseeing the design, construction, temporary works, shaft sinking, SCL works, secondary linings for TIDs, cross passages, tunnel connections and all associated FRC works related to the shafts and headhouses stairs coordinating with the TBMs and tunnelling activities in the DU's scope.
