Section Engineer (Civils/Track)

My client is a well-established Nationwide transportation company whose professionalism and well-respected name, have been instrumental in their success. They provide an exceptional service to their customers and are focused on continually improving this.

The role:

• Ensure that Projects are planned and delivered to high engineering standards and fully compliant to enable delivery and timely hand back well within requirements and expectations
• Develop programmes aided by staging diagrams for core work activities
• Populate resource schedules in line with programme requirements
• Develop the procurement schedules for each job Surveys, setting out, design verification and design management
• Develop the CPP, WPPs, Task Briefing Sheets & mitigation plans Integrate and contribute to White Board Briefings

Important experience

• Minimum Degree/HND Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Extensive on-site delivery experience
• Extensive knowledge of Civil design, surveying and setting out
• Up-to-date knowledge of plant and equipment
• Proficient knowledge of project planning and
• Knowledge of ISO quality systems

Important skills

• PTS and COSS
• Proficient in the use of surveying and gauging equipment
• CAT scanning competence
• Computer literate:
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook, Ms Project
• CDM Regulations awareness
• Temporary Works Co-ordinator
