Senior Structural Engineer - Rail & Transit Infrastructure

We're working with a leading engineering firm expanding their team for major transit and rail infrastructure projects across Canada. They're looking for a Senior Structural Engineer with strong experience in transit, civil, or underground structures to support project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead structural design on transit infrastructure (LRT, metro, etc.)

• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and support project planning

• Review drawings, calculations, and models

• Provide input during construction phases and site reviews

You'll Bring:

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering

• 10-15 years of experience in structural design, ideally in rail or transit infrastructure

• Strong expertise in reinforced concrete design

• Knowledge of prestressed concrete, precast, steel structures, and underground/geotechnical

• Proficient with structural analysis software

• Experienced in project management and leading structural teams

• Able to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary environments

• Strong communication skills, confident engaging with clients and internal teams
