Position: OLE Engineer (with SCADA expertise)
Rate: £370 per day, indicative determination OUTSIDE IR35
Location: Birmingham
Duration: minimum 6 months - 24 months

People Group have a new vacancy to support the Midlands Rail Hub programme with Engineering support, we are looking for a OLE Engineer (with SCADA expertise).
The role will be fliexbile working - working a few days at the office/site in Birmingham.
The Midlands Rail Hub MRH project is necessary to (i) meet forecast passenger demand through central Birmingham and (ii) support economic growth by increasing connectivity between cities across the Midlands area.
This objective requires an additional ten trains-per-hour (tph) to central Birmingham from:
1. the South West Corridor including the lines (i) Birmingham to Hereford; and (ii) Birmingham to Cardiff via Bristol; and
2. the East Midlands Corridor including the lines (i) Birmingham to Lincoln via Derby and Nottingham; plus (ii) Birmingham to Leicester.
This will be achieved through a series of multi-disciplinary engineering interventions.

- A minimum of HNC in Engineering, although a Degree would be preferable (or equivalent)
- Experience with working in the Rail sector
- SCADA expertise
