Want to grow the UK based Cyber Security team and support local and international projects?

As part of a major growth initiative a non-corporate, cash rich and employee owned Engineering Consultancy is investing heavily in their rail systems engineering and delivery capability in the UK.

In the short term you will be supporting major capital rail projects in Australasia. In the medium to long term you will help build and sell the service in the UK as well as support additional major projects in North America. Projects will be varied and will cover Freight, Passenger main line, light rail and metro. Fees are generally in the tens of millions.

You will be responsible for the development and delivery of client solutions within operational technology (OT), how it integrates with IT, and will provide significant contributions towards growth and development of a Cybersecurity and Risk business

This is a hybrid position so you can work from home and the office. You will ideally be able to easily commute to either York or London as these will be the two ‘centres of excellence'. Other office locations are Guildford, Stockport, Leeds, Nottingham, Newcastle, and Ellesmere Port

What do you need to be successful?

• Relevant Degree qualification in information technology, security or engineering disciplines
• Around 7 years of experience within OT & IT cybersecurity and risk delivery and management for organisations, especially around critical infrastructure
• IT/OT certifications such as CISSP, CRISC, CISM, IEC62443, GSEC, GICSP or equivalent
• Vendor certifications such as CCNP, MCSA, MCSP and NSE or equivalent
• Sound understanding of global cybersecurity standards
• Solid understanding of digital transformation risk frameworks and landscape

Salary would be around 60,000 to 70,000, although there could be some negotiation on this
