Roles and Responsibilities

- Ensure all documentation is accurately produced in accordance with BIM standards as well as company standards

- Act as the Technical Ambassador for the projects and be the Engineering/Design point of contact for the client

- Proactively resolve any technical issues relating to design assurance

- Guide CAD/BIM Technicians in the develop of design drawings, details and library of standard details...

- Check design calculations, contract documentation, drawings and technical documents

- Attend internal/external meetings such as; IDC's

Essential Skills

- Substantial Civil and Structural design experience working within a Rail environment i.e Bridges, Platforms, Reinforced Structure Depot's, AFA schemes...

- Must have a degree in Civil Engineering

- Must have knowledge of Network Rail standards and processes

Desired Skills

- Chartered or Incorporated Engineer (or currently working towards) with the ICE

- Ideally has undertaken the role of CRE-D
