Safety Health and Environment Manager
Location: Milton Keynes
Term: 6-month contract initially
Rate: Up to £400 per day, inside IR35

They are looking for a Safety, Health & Environment Manager to be the main point of contact for SHEQ service provision in Supply Chain Operations.
You will lead and manage all aspects of safety, health, wellbeing, environment, sustainable development, and quality support to the customer. You will also support the Supply Chain Operations Executive team in developing improvement plans and maintaining robust risk and assurance processes.
The supply chain operations function is the highest risk area of the business, so Rail experience and a great understanding of a safety critical environment is essential.
Key Accountabilities
- Manage the delivery of strategies, plans and improvement programmes for building risk
- Manage the Safety Health and Environment requirements of the management system framework.
- Lead and manage investigations and enabling processes required by company standards
- Provide management information, analysing and preparing insights to support stakeholders
- Manage the deployment of appropriate technical specialist support to deliver Safety Health and Environment services efficiently and effectively by considering the needs of customer
- Provide advice on regulatory and internal requirements, including stakeholder engagement and regulatory liaison to assist in managing stakeholder relationships
Desirable
- Passed IRCA approved Lead Audit training
