BIM Lead required to work for Principal Contractor on the High Speed London Tunnels Programme.

12 months contract - Inside IR35
North Acton / Old Oak Common with flexible working arrangements - Hybrid.

Candidate Must have previous demonstrable experience of managing Information Management Team and be able to hit the ground running. This is essential as will be managing a team of 6-8.

Role Brief:
Overall accountability for the delivery of all the BIM requirements for the allocated Area.

Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitating and Managing the BIM information exchange processes among project team members, subcontractors and suppliers, including the efficient exchange of information
through the CDE for the allocated area.
• Manage and support a team of dedicated BIM, GIS & Asset Information Management resource to deliver to the Employer’s Information Requirements
• Sharing and Managing the PIM (Project Information Model) and AIM (Asset Information Model).

Required qualifications, skills, behaviors and attributes
• Degree or equivalent in civil engineering or an appropriate professional qualification
• Prior experience in a leading a BIM function in Civil Engineering/Rail
• Knowledge of the development and implementation of BEPs and BIM processes
• Thorough knowledge of the UK BIM Framework: PAS 1192 and ISO 19650 standards
• Strong leadership, communication skills and interpersonal team management skills
• CAD experience 2D/3D in Bentley environment
• CSCS card is desirable
• GIS Knowledge is desirable
• Knowledge of Asset Information Management Systems is desirable
