M&E Manager - Rail Depot
Salary - £60-70K Per annum plus a company vehicle
Location - Norwich
My client is looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic M&E Manager to join their team for a Rail Depot project at Brantham.
The role will be based out of the site at Brantham for the foreseeable future so the ideal candidate will be based locally.
About the Role
The successful M&E Manager will be required to manage sub contractors in all aspects of the project
- To be responsible for the delivery of M&E installation projects on time and within budget, whilst exceeding customer expectations
- To oversee members of staff and sub-contractors on- site, including day to day support, continual training and to effectively resolve any issues that may arise
- To play an active part in progress meetings with key stakeholders and customers
- To ensure that any tooling, equipment and electrical systems are properly installed and maintained
- To maintain a good, professional working relationship with customers, keeping them updated throughout the duration of the project
- Assist in the production and implementation of Risk Assessments
- To ensure that company Health & Safety policies and procedures are adhered to constantly, and enforce this where necessary.
The Candidate
The successful candidate must have previous experience in managing M&E Projects.
The successful M&E Manager will have:
- Proven track record of managing a team and successfully delivering M&E installation projects
- Experience with NEC Contracts
- Prepare Contract Documents I.e. Method Statements, Risk Assessments, RFI's, Technical Submissions, etc
- Thorough understanding of M&E works and in- depth knowledge of the construction process
- Prepare handover documents i.e. O&M Manuals and Record Drawings
- Fit Out experience
- Flexibility to travel, working at main office and site based
- Must have previous experience of working within the construction industry.
