What will I be doing?
As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be working on heavy vehicles, carrying out fitting and maintenance across them. You will be using calibrated tools, power assisted tools and will be carrying out torque tightening, so previous experience using this equipment is required. Our client is open to any background, providing you have used the listed tooling and have experience within vehicles (Light and Heavy), plant and machinery maintenance.
You will be working a week 39 hours roster on a 2-week shift pattern, a mix of earlies and lates which follows as this:
Week 1: Mon – Thurs 06:00 – 14:30, Friday’s finishing at 13:30 on
Week 2: Mon – Thurs 14:00 22:30, Friday’s finishing at 10:30 – 18:00
What do we need?
- Must complete a criminal convictions questionnaire as part of the application process
- Be able to pass a basic DBS
- Be able to pass a Drugs & Alcohol test
- Be able to pass a full rail medical – this will include, sight, hearing, colour-vision, heart, lungs, balance
- Provide your Right to Work documents before deployment
- Happy to help mentality/attitude.
