Job Role: Senior Mechanical Engineer

Job Type: Contract – 6 months

Salary: £300 - £360 (OUTSIDE IR35)

Location: Chippenham

Our client is a leading company in transportation providing powerful, reliable, and environmentally friendly systems which enable quick and efficient transport from A to B. They are immediately hiring for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to work alongside a growing team with there Chippenham office and sites.

Essential Skills you will need:

• Experience as a mechanical engineer as well as experience managing others
• Working knowledge of mechanical engineering as well as analytical skills
• Understanding of design with experience of 2D and 3D CAD/CAE
• Understanding of the safety-critical environment

About your future role:

As the senior mechanical engineer you will be proving structural calculations, provide formal verification test and safety reports and checking of design, calculations, results and documents produced by team members. You will also help by being hands-on with the assembly and testing of prototypes.
