The Role:
Working within Group Services as part of the HR team. The role of HR services assistant within the HR services team is to provide timely and accurate administration and coordinated transactional support. Your clients are colleagues across the UK and specific overseas locations. The whole administrative function must be responsive to the needs of the business and ensure all HR services and HR ways of working are compliant and meet advised standards as outlined by the Group HR director.
 
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Handling queries and managing support via telephone, face to face and email, via centralised email and service now tickets.
  • Ensuring guidance is provided in line with policy, highlighting complexity and managing up through the line as necessary.
  • Working proactively with HR colleagues, key stakeholders and employees at all levels to effectively support, take ownership and see each interaction through to final resolution.  
  • Providing advice, administration and coordination of all transactional processes, throughout the employee lifecycle, working to achieve first time resolution so that the wider HR team and colleagues feel supported and positive results are achieved.
  • Working to SLAs to respond to first line queries, process documentation and system updates.
  • Supporting and having a sound understanding of people policies and guidance.
  • Ensuring quality, accuracy and integrity of people data maintaining and updating the oracle HCM system.
  • Working with HR operation stakeholders to identify and understand local business needs and seek specialist support from our centre of excellence teams where appropriate.
  • Supporting the wider HR Services team with workload, coach and develop other members of the team.
