PWT-EH Supervisor in Charge

Salary: £180.00 per day - Night shift & Overtime

Location: London (LUL Network)

The responsibilities of the PWT-EH Supervisor include:

  • Be part of the interview process of PWT-EH’s.
  • Arrange D&A test for all PWT-EH’s when joining the company, and annually as a minimum.
  • Ensure all PWT-EH are in date, and valid.
  • Mentor all new PWT-EH’s and those transferring with PWT-EH certification to ensure compliance & licensing requirements.
  • Review PWT-EH portfolio, IV number, medical etc.
  • Ensure the fitness of all PWT-EH’s daily.
  • Check the EWSA, Engineering notices, Traffic Circulars, and NEPA forms for changes in switching and clashes with other work.
  • Complete all necessary PWT-EH paperwork, including booking on forms.
  • Provide safety updates/communications received from LUL safety critical team when received in a timely manner.
  • Undertake daily briefing with all PWT-EH Inc. Issue of LUL documents, complete daily booking on form, check certificates, CRID etc.
  • Stand down any operative not fit for work, or not competent to fulfil the role.
  • Obtain and review a copy of each PWT-EH’s logbook at the end of the shift, and review to ensure it has been completed in full.
  • Check PWT-EH paperwork daily to ensure it is valid and readable.
  • Ensure CRIDS are always calibrated in date by monitoring expiry dates and arranging new.
  • Undertake a minimum of 3 site inspections per month on PWT-EH’s to ensure continual compliance.
  • Provide all completed PWT-EH paperwork and copies of logbooks on a weekly basis to the HSQE department on a weekly basis.

What you will need:

  • Previous experience as a PWT
  • ICI-LU Sentinel
  • BTA
  • DAMSP & Medical Certificates
  • Protecting works on track EH or TH
