Our client is seeking an experienced Signalling Project Engineer to work on one of the largest project alliances in the UK, and be a key part of their delivery unit working on challenging engineering projects. Based in London, you will be tasked with working on multi faceted projects, deliverying the signalling engineering works, along with managing sub contractors.

In this role you will provide guidance, direction and expertise on various technical elements of the work. An in-depth knowledge of signalling is essential due to the complexities of the workload, as is experience of working at CRE level.

You will be tasked to implement the signalling element of the works involving design, construction and commissioning as well as providing other technical activities on relevant projects. You will also advise project and programme management in respect of all construction activities, testing and commissioning, and site supervision. The successful applicant will undertake reviews of design and construction activities along with arranging audits of contractors to monitor all related works.To succeed in this position you need to hold the following skills and attributes

• Significant experience in Signalling engineering
• Technical qualifications to at least HND level or equivalent, ideally with IRSE engineering licence
• Membership of a relevant professional institution
• Experience of current Network Rail Standards
• Knowledge of design and construction projects
• Knowledge of safety management and quality assurance
