Are you an experienced Temporary Works Coordinator with a proven track record on large scale civil engineering projects?

Our client is an industry leading consultancy with global high speed rail expertise who are leading several major rail upgrades in the UK.

The Role:

• Manage a team of construction supervisors and sub-contractors on project delivery.
• Ensure all Temporary Works are adequately and safely designed, constructed, implemented, and removed in accordance with project procedures.
• You will have a working understanding of the principles of BS:5975 along with an awareness of PAS 8811 / PAS 8812 standards.
• Coordinate all temporary works activities.
• Record drawings, calculations, and relevant documents in connection with the final design.
• Issue formal permits, obtain criteria to allow temporary works to be removed
• Understand the client’s sustainability policies, processes, and statutory requirements and ensure they are applied and implemented on the project.
• Mentor site engineers, carry out regular briefings for the site supervisors.
• Civil or Structural Engineering Qualification, minimum of HNC/HND
• CITB Temporary Works Coordinator Course – ideal
• SMSTS – ideal
• Have an understanding of CDM Regulations (2015)
