Are you an experienced Procurement Manager?

Do you have previous railway industry experience?

If so, TXM Recruit are recruiting for an experienced Procurement Project Manager located in Birmingham on a 6-month contract basis paying between £500 - £600 per day (outside IR35) This is to support a rail company during a key demobilisation project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the procurement department in contract negotiations and associated procurement activity throughout the demobilisation and handover period.
• There are a large number of contracts that will need to be reviewed, amending and extending.
• Hold suppliers accountable to support the delivery of their contractual agreements through clear and robust contract management.
• Manage the tender process timeline, key milestones, and communications with the bidders via the tender portal.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Good understanding of the UK rail industry and the associated relationships and contracts.
• Procurement experience will be ideal as you will act as the main engagement with the wider procurement team.
• Previous experience of working with the DfT would be a benefit.
