Assurance Tier 2/3 Supplier Manager in London, London, United Kingdom
Recruiting for an Assurance Tier 2/3 Supplier Manager to work on a contract basis based in London for our client who are a global engineering, construction and project management company.
Purpose of the Job
Support the Business through the management of the delivery of various Tier 2/3 Supplier and Framework Design Consultant work scopes through the testing, commissioning, assurance and handover phases of the Stations, Shafts and Portals projects. Enable the supply chain to efficiently honour their contracts through the coordination and prioritisation of scope, resources, interfaces, interrogation of programmes and the monitoring and reporting of progress for the particular areas of responsibility.
Principal Accountabilities
Evaluating productivity of work execution; confirming appropriate controls are in place.
Facilitating reviews of compliance with Employer's technical requirements acceptance of completed works.
Coordinating interfaces with adjacent or follow-on contracts; resolving problems; assisting the project manager coordinating the final handover of the project to the Infrastructure Manager.
Taking reasonable care of your own and others' health and safety and of those who may be affected in the day-to-day delivery of this role by taking personal responsibility for working to the Target Zero principles
Co-operate with the client in all matters relating to health and safety, including following safe working procedures at all times.
Promote equality in the workplace and adopt appropriate behavior when interacting with colleagues.
Take necessary care to properly protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of corporate information from unauthorized disclosure, modification or destruction.
Person Specification
Experience of delivery of the assurance documentation, ideally with M&E focus on major projects.
Technical familiarity throughout the project lifecycle of M&E systems would be desirable.
University degree in an engineering related subject is desirable.
Member of a relevant professional institution preferred.
Knowledge and experience of quality systems and processes.
Knowledge and experience of project controls processes.
Knowledge and experience of Environment, Safety & Health processes.
Experience of building strong stakeholder relationships.
Experience of managing complex and demanding interfaces.
Knowledge of the use of subcontracts; knowledge of the contractor/ subcontractor's responsibilities contained in subcontract documents.
