Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location: Leeds, Derby, or Sheffield (Hybrid - 1-2 days office-based per week)

Advance TRS is partnering with a leading consultancy to recruit a talented and driven Senior Quantity Surveyor. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established and highly respected project team delivering across a diverse portfolio of high-profile developments in the property and infrastructure sectors.
You'll play a key role in providing commercial expertise across the full project lifecycle, with exposure to landmark schemes in education, residential, commercial, aviation, and hotel developments. The ideal candidate will bring not only strong technical knowledge, but also a collaborative, service-focused approach to client delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day commercial support to the client and wider project team.
Deliver both pre- and post-contract quantity surveying services.
Prepare a range of cost estimates using available design information.
Support valuation processes and agree site measures with contractors.
Produce monthly project and client-facing reports.
Assist in the agreement of final accounts and contractual matters.
Attend and contribute to regular project meetings.
Take ownership of assigned work packages or whole projects with minimal supervision.
Support contract management, audits, and project reviews.
What We're Looking For:
MRICS qualified or working towards APC.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a logical and detail-oriented mindset.
Commercial awareness and the ability to identify and develop opportunities.
Confident communicator, able to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
Excellent time management with the ability to prioritise and handle multiple tasks.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with cost management tools (e.g. CostX) preferred.
A collaborative team player who can also work independently with initiative.
Energetic, personable, and committed to delivering quality service.
