Quantity Surveyor – Marine & Infrastructure
Location: Devon / Hampshire - This is a SITE BASED ROLE.
Employment: Permanent, Full-time

Salary: 60-75k DOE.

Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in heavy civils and marine projects? Do you have hands-on experience working on NEC contracts (particularly clauses B, C, and E)? If so, my client wants to hear from you!

About this Quantity Surveying Role:
Join our client, a leading contractor specialising in marine and infrastructure projects, working across key sites in Devon and Hampshire. You will play a critical role in delivering large-scale marine and heavy civils contracts, managing the full QS scope from procurement through to final accounts.

Key Responsibilities for this Quantity Surveying role:

• Manage all quantity surveying duties on marine and infrastructure projects
• Prepare procurement packages, tender evaluations, and contract documentation
• Monitor costs and progress throughout the project lifecycle
• Assess and negotiate variations, claims, and final accounts
• Ensure compliance with NEC contracts, with a focus on B, C, and E clauses
• Collaborate closely with project teams, suppliers, and clients to ensure commercial success

Requirements for this Quantity Surveying role:

• Proven experience in heavy civils and marine construction projects
• Strong knowledge and practical experience of NEC contract administration (B, C, and E clauses preferred)
• Competent in managing full QS duties independently
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
• Willingness to work between Devon and Hampshire sites
