We are now working with our client to find a Senior Utility Surveyor to be based in Wakefield. However, the role itself will involve travelling to sites nationwide. With our client working predominantly in Rail & Highways, experience in either sector would be highly advantageous but it's not essential.

This is a full-time, permanent role which can offer weekend work on top of your core hours.

Principal responsibilities:

• Carry out buried services clearance and underground utility mapping surveys
• Compile survey reports and documentation
• Collaborate with other survey teams & activities, for large scale projects, including communication with the project manager & client.
• Act as a mentor for Junior/Assistant surveyors.
• Undertake training to aid your professional development plan.

Key skills/experience required:

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role
• Proven experience in the use of EML equipment and GPR.
• Knowledge of PAS128, and delivery of survey works in accordance with such.
• Interpretation and post processing of GPR data.
• Experience in the use of GPS systems would be preferable

Qualifications:

• CSCS card holder
• NVQ in Utility Mapping and Surveying (QCF)
• You will need a full and clean UK Driving License
