Senior/lead Ecologist
Roles and responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Lead and deliver ecological assessments for rail infrastructure projects.</li>

Essential Skills

<li>Significant experience working as an ecologist, including a senior or lead role on infrastructure projects.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of UK environmental and wildlife legislation</li>
<li>Proven experience delivering Ecological Impact Assessments and related reports.</li>
<li>Proven experience working with Network Rail</li>
<li>Experience with protected species surveys and mitigation (e.g Bats, Great crested newts, badgers)</li>
<li>Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment</li>
<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li>

Senior/ Lead Ecologist

Job Introduction The Shafts (Civils) Lead is a key leadership role within the Tunnels and Shaft Delivery Unit. Responsible for overseeing the design, construction, temporary works, shaft sinking, SCL works, secondary linings for TIDs, cross passages, tunnel connections and all associated FRC works related to the shafts and headhouses stairs coordinating with the TBMs and tunnelling activities in the DU's scope. This position requires a combination of technical expertise, project management skills, and leadership abilities and supply chain management and relationships to ensure that assets are completed on time, within budget, to the highest quality standards and fully assured to the requirements of HS2. The Shafts (Civils) Lead plays a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of the projects meeting client expectations and organizational objectives. Head of Shafts

Fire Extinguisher PPM Engineer Summary Working under the direction of the Duty Manager or Team Leader, the Fire Extinguisher PPM Engineer, is responsible for carrying out servicing, planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive servicing on portable firefighting equipment, including fire extinguishers and fire blankets, primarily across Transport for London (TfL) premises. The role involves maintaining asset records, ensuring compliance with relevant standards such as BS5306, and advising management or clients on potential non-compliances and remedial actions. The incumbent may also assist in the design, testing, development, and installation of maintenance methods and products related to fire safety technology. This position requires adherence to quality, environmental, health and safety (QEHS) standards and company values, with a focus on delivering timely, customer-focused service while working both independently and collaboratively within a team.Please note the succcessful candidate will need a driving licence. You will be working on various central London train stations, so will need to be in Central London for a 6am start. Also night shifts will be available from 10apm to 6am. An advantage would be to have access to a small van, but not essnetial. Previous expericence servicing Fire extinguishers, is essential for this role.Rate - £200 per day umbrella - PAYE is a option. Hours - Monday to Friday 6am - 14.00 pm. Duration - 12 weeks, maybe longer. Location - Various central London underground stations.
