<p>We have an exciting opportunity to join our client as a Lead Project Engineer in CIS within their Rail Infrastructure business.</p><p>As a Lead Project Engineer, you will take ownership of the engineering delivery for defined work packages across one or more projects.&nbsp;</p><p>You will ensure engineering requirements, standards, safety obligations, and customer expectations are fully met throughout the delivery lifecycle.</p><p>You will often act as the Project Engineering Manager (PEM) on medium‑scale projects or lead engineering packages on larger programmes, coordinating multi‑disciplinary inputs, managing technical risk and ensuring robust integration, testing and assurance.&nbsp;</p><p>This role is pivotal in the successful delivery of our CIS (Communications &amp; Information Systems) solutions.</p><p><strong>Daily Tasks will include:&nbsp;</strong><br>Leading the engineering delivery of work packages or serving as PEM on medium projects, ensuring scope, schedule, quality, cost, and safety objectives are achieved.<br>Developing, maintaining, and executing the Project Engineering Management Plan (PEMP), tailoring engineering governance to project complexity.</p><p>Driving engineering lifecycle activities: requirements capture, system design, integration, testing, V&amp;V, and commissioning readiness.<br>Ensuring all engineering work complies with relevant standards, processes, technical specifications, and safety obligations (CDM/CSM).<br>Coordinating technical interfaces across disciplines, suppliers, and subcontractors, ensuring “right first time” integration.<br>Acting as the engineering representative to the PM, client, suppliers, and internal teams, ensuring consistent communication of requirements, changes, and engineering status.</p><p><strong>Requirements:&nbsp;</strong><br>Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Systems, or related Engineering discipline (or equivalent experience).<br>Strong engineering delivery experience in SCADA, SISS, Control Systems, or large-scale integration projects.<br>Proven capability delivering across the full engineering lifecycle; requirements, design, integration, test, V&amp;V, and commissioning.<br>Experience acting as Work Package Manager, technical lead, or PEM on scoped project elements.<br>Strong understanding of rail infrastructure environments, construction/installation constraints, and operational railway practices and the ability to demonstrate managing requirements, configuration, change, and engineering assurance processes effectively<br>Background in multi-discipline environments such as SCADA, SISS, control systems, telecoms, M&amp;E, or line-wide system integration and software-intensive systems (desirable)</p><p>&nbsp;</p>

<h2>Site Supervisor</h2><h2>Summary:</h2><p>We are seeking a competent and proactive Site Supervisor to oversee trenching operations within fields, responsible for the safe and efficient excavation of approximately 120 trenches. The role requires strong organisational skills to manage daily site activities, including carrying out reports, calculating and monitoring daily programmes, and delivering toolbox talks to the workforce. The successful candidate must be IT literate to handle reporting and programme calculations effectively. Working hours are from 7:00am to 5:00pm with a 30-minute break, paid for 9.5 hours per day. A company van will be provided for travel within a reasonable distance of St Neots, Cambridgeshire.</p><p>The role demands a hands-on approach with a focus on health and safety, quality, and productivity. The candidate must hold a valid Black Hat, First Aid at Work, and SSSTS certifications, alongside a full UK driving licence.
