What will you be doing?
Acting as key member in the ESHW (Environment, Health, Safety and Wellbeing) function, the Environmental Manager will support the Head of ESHW in delivering environmental expertise to the programme.
The role will involve leading in environment deliverables, as outlined by the various programmes such as technical reviews of environmental data, legal framework interpretation and implementation across a multi-functional project framework, reviewing technical environmental deliverables e.g. BAT assessments and managing a programme of work for the success of the programme.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for provision of non-radiological environmental advice and leadership.
- Responsible for facilitating stakeholder management and stakeholder engagement programme wide.
- Technical reviews of environmental deliverables, as prescribed by the programme.
- Responsible for programme management of environmental deliverables.
- Develop and manage the collation of KPIs and performance data to track environmental performance.
- Establish and implement strategies for Environmental Permit compliance on a Nuclear Licenced site.
- Provision of coaching and training of the programme team in the pursuit of an exemplar environmental compliance.
- Experience of environmental management on a highly regulated construction site
- Experience of Best Available Techniques (BAT) reviews
- Sustainability Appraisals
- Environmental Permitting compliance
- Defence Related Environmental Assessment Method (DREAM) Assessment overview (from Design stage and onwards), is desirable
- Project management
- Past experience working in a fast-moving project environment essential
- SQEP trained for nuclear engineering/design/PM roles essential
- Experience of nuclear or high secure sectors desirable
