Programme Manager
Location: Milton Keynes
Rate: £550 - £600 per day – Inscope of IR35
Term: 6 months contract, initially

They are currently looking for an experienced Programme Manager to join their Geospatial Programme in Milton Keynes.
Experience needed:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience within a Programme Manager position
- Previous background in Geospatial
- Previous experience in the Rail industry
The Role:
Delivering improved data for Access Points:
- Managing the ongoing implementation of the data improvement plan, ensuring appropriate resources are assigned to undertake the required activities work
- Monitor and report performance against expected outcomes
For the following workstreams: Structures, Track, Signalling, E&P, Hazards:
- Support the mobilisation of a specialist team to support the delivery of the initial stages (requirements/options) of a Spatial Data Delivery programme. NB Resources are expected to be sourced from within Route Services (a hybrid team from RS-IT, RS-AIS, the Regions/Routes and the Technical Authority) however options of engaging 3rd Parties will be considered.
- Managing the delivery of requirements elicitation
- Manage the development of interim data specification with Professional Heads and Region/Route representatives
- Define a data capture/improvement approach and implementation plan through the consideration of data sources, tool and methods options, and the creation of outline designs
- Define an approach for ongoing data maintenance
- Calculate an estimate of effort (time and cost) for full delivery
- Complete investment papers / PEST to ensure appropriate financial governance for the subsequent delivery stages of the programme
- Once investment authority is achieved, manage the implementation of the data improvement plan, and monitor and report performance against expected outcomes
