A Senior Risk Manager is required for a significantly sized Rail programme in Ontario. This is a permanent position, based in Canada and will require you to relocate if not based in country already.
Working as part of the Integrated Delivery Partner team and co-located with the Client, you will support with the management of all risks across a complex, multidisciplinary programme of surface rail works encompassing Track, Stations, Systems and Civils.
This position represents a unique opportunity to join a global PPM Consultancy, that will offer you ongoing global opportunities in places such as the Americas, South East Asia and the Middle East.

What will you be doing?
- Manage program/project risk, undertaking QCRA and QSRA
- Define the risk management framework (policy, strategy, plan) and establishing risk management process
- Conduct Risk Assessment Workshops and Training with the project teams and program departments
- Manage the assessment, evaluation, prioritization, and update of risks for all Programs or Projects
- Monitor and measure the associated mitigation actions to prevent risk occurrence
- Direct and participate in regular risk reviews to identify, capture, and sanction risks, apply Monte Carlo analysis to inform and recommend appropriate actions
- Direct and review the cost of mitigation action, budget and actual
- Prepare weekly, monthly, semi-annual, and annual reports for risk data, and conduct multiple Risk Assessment Briefings
What do you need to be successful?
- A degree, or similar, ideally in a construction or engineering field
- Demonstrable experience as a Risk Manager on a large infrastructure programme, ideally Rail
- Be comfortable in leading teams, and dealing with large sets of stakeholders
- Understanding of Project Controls (estimate/cost and schedule)
- In depth knowledge of risk methodology and tools
