3 Senior Health, Safety & Wellbeing Advisors are required for night shift operations. These are site-based agency roles with contracts expected to run for around 12 months and potential opportunities to transition into permanent positions.
Candidate Profile
We are seeking experienced Senior Health, Safety & Wellbeing Advisors with a strong background in construction, infrastructure or other high-risk industries. Candidates must be confident working independently, engaging with stakeholders at all levels, and providing practical safety leadership within a complex project environment. A collaborative mindset, resilience and strong communication skills are essential.
Essential qualifications:
- CSCS Card
- NVQ Level 4, 5 or 6 (or equivalent) in Occupational Health & Safety
- Proven experience in a Health & Safety Advisor role at a senior level.
- Primary Responsibilities
- The Senior Advisors will support the safe delivery of night-shift construction activities across the major construction, enabling and earthworks phase project. This is a highly visible, site-based role focused on:
- Providing health, safety and wellbeing support to operational teams.
- Conducting risk-based inspections and assurance activities.
- Engaging with the workforce, contractors and management teams.
- Supporting the planning and safe execution of high-risk works.
- Facilitating effective communication and handovers between day and night teams.
Team Structure
The successful candidates will join the dedicated Night Shift Health, Safety & Wellbeing Team, supporting a 24/7 construction operation. The team consists of one existing advisor and 3 new Senior Advisors, creating a four-person night-shift function responsible for supporting all construction activities during out-of-hours operations. One of the successful candidates may also take on a lead/coordinator role within the team.
