Role Overview:
Due to continued growth across the South and Central regions, a leading principal contractor is looking to appoint a Bid Manager to take ownership of a key regional workload. This is a standalone position reporting directly to the Head of Bid, giving you full responsibility for managing and delivering high-quality bids across rail, water and wider infrastructure projects.

The role has been created to support an overstretched team and strengthen local engagement and delivery capability within the Midlands, particularly around Tamworth. You will be joining a stable, well-established business with a strong pipeline of secured work and long-term opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
·You will lead the end-to-end bid process for South and Central region opportunities
·Coordinate internal inputs across technical, commercial and operational teams

·Excellent written communication and bid writing capability
·Strong stakeholder management skills
·Stable career history demonstrating commitment and longevity

Desirable Requirements:
·Experience within rail or water sectors
·Exposure to complex infrastructure frameworks
·Experience working within main contractor environments.
