We are currently seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join a major highways and public realm scheme focused on regeneration and improving walking and cycling infrastructure. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a high-profile project delivering long-term community benefits.We are ideally looking for someone with solid experience in highways, public realm, and active travel schemes (cycle paths, street works, etc.), though we may consider a more senior individual if they demonstrate strong experience and capability. Project Overview The scheme is centred around regeneration works to enhance walking and cycling routes, including the construction of new cycle paths and associated public realm improvements. Key Works Include: <ul><li>Temporary traffic management</li><li>Coordination and assistance with statutory undertaker utility works</li><li>Carriageway resurfacing and surface treatments</li><li>Kerbing, footways, and cycleways</li><li>Signal junction improvements and controlled crossings</li><li>Signing and road markings</li><li>Relocation of bus shelters</li><li>Road lighting</li><li>Landscaping and tree works</li><li>Minor structures</li><li>Arts and Culture package as part of social value delivery</li></ul> Key Responsibilities: <ul><li>Day-to-day site supervision and coordination of works</li><li>Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to specification</li><li>Managing subcontractors and liaising with stakeholders</li><li>Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and quality</li><li>Supporting delivery of social value elements within the scheme</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>Proven experience as a Site Supervisor within highways and/or public realm works</li><li>Strong understanding of traffic management and live environment projects</li><li>Ability to coordinate multiple workstreams and stakeholders</li><li>SMSTS (or equivalent) preferred</li><li>Good communication and organisational skills</li></ul>We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity in our company. Job Role: On-Board Facilities Operative - Plumbing Support Team
Location: East Kent / Cantebury
Contract Length: 3 month rolling up to 12 months.
Contracted Hours: Days - Earlies &amp; Lates Rotation, M-F
 Pay: £19.50 per hour (PAYE) / £25.35 per hour (Umbrella)

We’re looking for a practical, hands-on professional to join a fast-paced rail company, specialising in train bathroom and toilet maintenance.
What’s on Offer:
You do not need any previous experience in the rail sector, therefore this is a great opportunity for anyone looking to make a start on their railway career.
You will undergo specialist training such as personal track safety training (PTS) and fleet engineering competencies, to ensure that you are safe working in a live rail environment and can understand fully the systems you will be working on.
The rail sector can offer great stability with various career options and significant on the job training and progression, underpinned by the stability of steady service demand and public funding. This could therefore be a great first step for someone looking to transition from the private sector or industrial cleaning /facilities maintenance into a rail career.
A 4 on 4 off shift pattern, allows condensed working hours so you can make the most of your time off, whilst still earning a competitive salary at £25.35 an hour (significantly higher than similar roles, in other industries).
Your work will contribute to the safe and efficient running of passenger services across the local area and as such you will be a key part of a large team that helps keeps one of the capital moving one journey at a time!
What the role involves day to day:
<ul>
<li>Travel across the rail network to call outs for issues reported in service.</li>
<li>Cleaning, repairing, and maintaining toilets, sinks, and other bathroom fixtures / plumbing on-board trains during in service hours.</li>
<li>Unblocking train toilets &amp; sinks.</li>
<li>Additionally where required fixing leaks, broken fittings, or damaged surfaces in the on-board WCs.</li>
<li>Ensuring safety, hygiene, and functionality standards are met on every shift.</li>
<li>Managing tools, parts, and stock efficiently and reporting maintenance needs.</li>
<li>Operating across the train fleet in a mobile, field-based capacity.</li>
</ul>
Who we’re looking for:
<ul>
<li>Experience in basic plumbing, mechanical fitting, or facilities maintenance, ideally with an NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent experience in a trade or facilities background. </li>
<li>The role would suit someone that has worked as a plumber or plumbers mate or who has undergone basic training in mechanical fitting, plumbing or facilities maintenance.</li>
<li>Comfortable with dealing with waste / sewage / effluent systems.</li>
<li>Good health, safety and quality attitude.</li>
<li>Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work alone or in a team.</li>
<li>Previous rail experience and PTS certification desirable but not essential – full training provided.</li>
<li>Good professional manner and happy to be representing the company in a public setting – you will often be based at stations waiting for call outs, travelling on the network to call outs and attending maintenance calls on-board trains in service.</li>
