Rail Site Agent - North West - Permanent&nbsp;Rail Site Agent is currently required to join a leading railway &amp; civil engineering contractor, who are delivering several complex railway projects across the North West. &nbsp;The ideal candidate will have experience of undertaking the role of a Site Agent for a railway contractor previously and be familiar with the delivery of a railway project consisting of structure replacements and associated works.&nbsp;Requirements:<ul><li>Over 3 years experience of undertaking a similar role</li><li>Current &amp; Valid PTS</li><li>Excellent understanding of delivering rail and civil engineering projects, including structure replacements</li><li>Capable of overseeing all site based activities, including monitoring sub-contractors and operational staff</li></ul>&nbsp;The role:<ul><li>Delivery of large scale and complex rail projects</li><li>Reviewing design processes, assisting with programme management and managing sub-contract packages</li><li>Completing project paperwork such as WPP's, ITP's, Task Briefings</li><li>Working closely with the commercial team, planners and operational team to ensure effective delivery of the projects</li></ul>&nbsp;If you meet the criteria above, and would like to be considered for the role, please get in touch.

Job Introduction The Shafts (Civils) Lead is a key leadership role within the Tunnels and Shaft Delivery Unit. Responsible for overseeing the design, construction, temporary works, shaft sinking, SCL works, secondary linings for TIDs, cross passages, tunnel connections and all associated FRC works related to the shafts and headhouses stairs coordinating with the TBMs and tunnelling activities in the DU's scope. This position requires a combination of technical expertise, project management skills, and leadership abilities and supply chain management and relationships to ensure that assets are completed on time, within budget, to the highest quality standards and fully assured to the requirements of HS2. The Shafts (Civils) Lead plays a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of the projects meeting client expectations and organizational objectives. This position requires a dynamic individual with a combination of technical expertise, leadership abilities, and a commitment to excellence. The Ideal Candidate oBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mining Engineering, (advanced degree preferred) or suitable experience in field. oExtensive experience (typically 10+ years) in heavy civil engineering, tunneling and underground construction, with a focus on shafts. oProven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects, preferably in tunneling or heavy civil engineering. oStrong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate multidisciplinary teams. oExcellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with experience interacting with diverse stakeholders. oIn-depth knowledge of civils construction, tunneling techniques, equipment, and materials, as well as relevant safety and environmental regulations. oProficiency in project management tools and software for scheduling, budgeting, and reporting.
