I am currently recruiting for an experienced Scheme Project Manager to lead the delivery of OLE projects across the Central and West Coast Routes.
This role has responsibility for the end-to-end management of OHL scheme delivery, alongside a key leadership role in integrating High Output Track and Construction teams to enable safe, efficient, and collaborative planning and execution.
The position will also play a significant role in the planning and development of upcoming works at Birmingham New Street, contributing to early-stage coordination, integration, and delivery strategy for this complex and high-profile programme.
Key Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Overall management of OHL/OLE project delivery, ensuring schemes are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards in line with PACE and Network Rail governance</li>
<li>Lead and coordinate integrated planning and delivery across High Output Track and Construction teams</li>
<li>Drive collaborative working practices to improve safety, efficiency, and programme certainty</li>
<li>Manage scheme governance, including risk, change control, resources, and reporting</li>
<li>Develop, agree, and implement contingency and recovery plans in collaboration with delivery teams and Route stakeholders</li>
<li>Support the planning and integration of Birmingham New Street works, contributing to constructability, staging, and delivery readiness</li>
<li>Ensure projects achieve AMP-compliant close-out and are effectively handed back to maintenance teams</li>
<li>Lead proactive stakeholder engagement, demonstrating strong safety leadership and clear communication across all schemes</li>
</ul>

What are my responsibilities?
<ul>
<li>Commercial functions of various work packages. These may include Design, Signalling Installation, Test &amp; Commission, Materials, Telecoms, Electrification, Power, Plant, Professional Services, Civil Engineering and Permanent Way on the railway infrastructure.</li>
<li>Work with the project delivery team responsible for work package / project change control and management</li>
<li>Liaise with work package managers to collate information on the works</li>
<li>Work package cost management, including forecasting, budget management and control</li>
<li>Prepares internal and external commercial reports</li>

<li>HND/Degree qualified or equivalent and or hold or working towards professional qualification, RICS, CICES (essential).</li>
<li>5 years experience.</li>
<li>Strong track record in a contractor side, project environment (essential)</li>
<li>Ability to work under own initiative and under cost or time critical conditions (essential)</li>
<li>Good contractual knowledge and understanding (essential)</li>

Job Description Job Title: IVVQ Engineer Domain: Rail / Transportation Systems Role Summary As an IVVQ Engineer, you will be responsible for system integration, verification, validation, and qualification activities to ensure solutions meet client and user requirements within the rail domain. You will work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to implement, integrate, test, and verify systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, performance, and compliance with defined engineering and project standards. Key Responsibilities Perform system integration and system testing in line with IVVQ principles and project requirements. Identify and address technical debt, performance bottlenecks, and other engineering issues. Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. Understand and adhere to project delivery processes, methodologies, and tools as defined in the GTS Management System, Engineering Management Plans, and IVVQ Management Plans.
