EWI are supporting a leading international consultancy firm in their search for an Design Director for a metro mega project in the MENA region. You'll head the engineering department, overseeing civil, structural, architectural, geotechnical, construction, and tunnelling teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate the Consultant's Design Team.
• Ensure integration across disciplines and advise the Client on technical matters.
• Guide Line Managers through design phases and review deliverables.
• Manage engineering team (5-10 staff) and liaise with O&M, systems, project control, and procurement.

Requirements:

• Degree in civil engineering, architecture, urban planning, or transport.
• 20+ years in rail/mass transit design
• Experience in 2+ metro projects.
• Proven team leadership and stakeholder collaboration.
• Fluent in English.
