Rail Systems Integration Manager - Rail & Transit Projects
Location: Canada (Candidates must be based locally within Canada)

EWI are supporting a leading consultancy firm who are seeking an experienced Systems Integration Manager to support a portfolio of rail and transit projects across Canada. This role is ideal for a systems-focused professional with a strong background in delivering integrated solutions within complex, multi-disciplinary rail environments.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will lead the practical implementation of a holistic, top-down systems engineering approach, treating each rail system as a fully integrated whole - not merely a sum of its parts. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire system lifecycle, from initial needs analysis and design to commissioning, operations, and decommissioning.

Key tasks include:

• Development and execution of systems integration strategies across major rail programs

• Application of systems lifecycle methodologies based on ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288:2015

• Management of requirements, interfaces, verification and validation, and configuration

• Collaboration with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless integration

Required Qualifications:

• Degree in Systems, Software, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline

• 10+ years' experience in Systems Engineering and/or Systems Integration Management

• Hands-on experience with rail and transit projects within the Canadian market

• Solid understanding of ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288:2015 standards and lifecycle management

• Proven track record of managing systems integration activities in complex infrastructure projects
