Roles and Responsibilities

- The role is to provide a functional APCo Technical leadership across the programme: including leading the co-ordination and integration across delivery paryners both infastructure (alliance/Delivery Units) and rolling stock (TOC's and manufactures) feeding into Key Outputs that support industry integrated entry into service of new OLE and use of electric traction where available

- The role will act as 'System Integrator'

- Chair/Lead APCo Working Group

- Own the Strategic APCo scope and miration startegy

- Leadership of virtual Technical senior tea, (includes Project Management, Infrastructure Specialist, T&C specialisy, rolling stock specialist)

- Provide specialist technical support to Infastructure design teams and validate compliance of designs for APCO sites.

- Lead on post implementation fault indentificiation and rectification across infrastrcuture and rolling stock and interrogation of database outputs to support fault finding.

Essential skills

- Experience of actiong as technical specialist for tolling stock/ on board systems

- Exerience in scope/ specification of database/onboard systems

- Experience of integrating rolling stock and infrastructure required to support on board rail systems

Desired skills

- Degree in an appropriate engineering disciplined subject
