Senior Project Planner in United Kingdom
Roles and Responsibilities
- Report into the Planning manager and integrated as a key stakeholder between Project Management, Commercial, Engingeering, Design and Delivery
- Provide proactive solutions to project challenges whilst ensuring the relevant performance indicators are reported accurately
- Regularly report updated to Senior members of the project and company
- Support with Bid and Tender documentation as well as ensuring full contractual complianvce relating to planning activities
- Act as the most senior planning point of contact for a programme both internally but also externally to subcontractors and the client
Essential Skills
- Established experience working in the infrastructure sectors such as but not limited to: Rail, Energy, civil engineering, water and contruction
- Experience leading, developing and mentoring junior members of the planning team
- A self- motivated and proactive approach to communicating, team integration and problem solving
- Established experience using Primavera P6 as was as other MS products like Excel, word, PP
Desired Skills
- A degree of a relevant subject related to project delivery such as but not limited to: Project Management, Engineering or Construction Management
