Job Title: Senior Rolling Stock Expert - Urban Transportation

Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Rolling Stock Expert to support a major urban transportation initiative in Quebec City. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a strong understanding of certification processes within the rail industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage rolling stock-related activities across urban transportation projects.
• Serve as an Independent Certifier, ensuring compliance with safety, performance, and regulatory standards.
• Oversee project planning, execution, and team coordination.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to ensure project alignment and delivery.
• Provide strategic input on procurement, design, and integration of rolling stock systems.

Requirements:

• Minimum 20 years of experience in rolling stock engineering, ideally within urban transportation.
• Fluent in French (spoken and written).
• Willing and able to relocate to Quebec City.
• Proven experience in project management and team leadership.
• Prior involvement as an Independent Certifier on transportation projects.
• Ideally a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) or eligible for membership.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of Canadian and international rail standards.
• Experience working with public transport authorities or large infrastructure consultancies.
