Does the thought of taking on a highly autonomous position where you will be creating and building the strategy from scratch appeal to you?
This key development role will find you responsible for driving market growth across the UK Transport sector, expanding on existing capabilities in Rail, Highways, National Infrastructure, Aviation and Defence.
Reporting into the EMEA Board, you will be collaborating with other Business Leaders to identify opportunities, build pipeline and win market share. They want to triple headcount in the next couple of years, and you'll play a big part in realising this.
The UK business' culture is one of a start up I guess, albeit they have significant financial investment and backing resulting from their near 100 year trading history in their home market.
They are renowned for rapid response times and lightning-fast ability to bring projects to market. They're not hampered by legacy businesses, and being employee owned means no board of shareholders to answer to. They hit the ground running and grow into new sectors, fast. They offer an agile, non corporate working environment. There is little to no internal red tape.
To be successful in this position, you will:
- Hold a tertiary qualification in a relevant subject, engineering preferred. Chartership
- Have a strong reputation and domain knowledge within two or more of the target markets
- Evidence of delivery for transport clients in digital, advisory and/or technical projects E
- Have a track record of business and market development within identified sectors
- Be able to deal with (lead and manage through) ambiguity;
- Lead multi-discipline teams and long-term client engagements
- Be able to strategically plan and then implement and execute over a 1-3 year horizon.
- Be able to lead strategic pursuits and drive team performance across frameworks, tenders and proposals
Salary would be between 100,000 to 110,000 per annum with a target linked bonus scheme. There is also a longer term opportunity to secure share ownership
