Job Role: Senior Quantity Surveyor

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 + £7,500 car allowance

Location: Birmingham

Our client is one of the biggest and most prestigious contractors in the rail industry. They work every day to provide solutions towards the goal of enhancing the infrastructure of the UK’s rail network. They are immediately hiring for a senior quantity surveyor to join their growing team on a new and upcoming project.

Essential Skills you will need:

• Working knowledge of finance systems and various forms of contracts
• Experience with cost and budget administration
• Working knowledge of financial and commercial reporting to board level
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office

• Experience working withing the engineering or construction sector on large civils or infrastructure projects.

About your future role:

As the senior quantity surveyor, you would be managing the risk and opportunities process during the tender and construction phases. You will also be establishing and maintaining rigorous cost controls and providing robust accurate financial data on each project. As well as undertaking any other reasonable duties as required.
