Rail Risk Expert - Romania

The market leading infrastructure recruitment specialist is supporting a major International Consultancy who are requiring a Risk Expert for an initial 3 Month assignment in Romania.

The project is the construction of a New Metro Line being constructed in the country.

Opportunity:

The successful individual shall be joining one of the worlds leading Consultancy firms working on behalf of the end client and supporting the project controls team with the Risk Management aspect of the project. The team consists of a number of International Experts and the work is being carried out by Leading European Contractors to FIDIC condition and the project is ODA financed.

Responsibilities:

As the Risk Expert you shall be working closely with Project Director & Project Controls Manager to protect and advise the end client on all matters relating to Risk. The overall aim is to assist the project to be delivered on time and within budget while mitigating both the clients & consultancies Risk.

Key requirements for the role:

• Degree in Engineering / Risk Management or a related discipline
• 10+ years of Rail or Metro experience
• A minimum of 15 years' relevant experience in project delivery risk management gained in large-scale multi-disciplinary project implementation environments
• Excellent communication and influencing skills to effectively engage and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
• Sound knowledge of risk management practices in construction projects, with a proven track record in successful risk management implementation
• Regional exposure and ODA financed project experience would be beneficial.
